What is LizardConnect?

LizardConnect is part of the Lizard ecosystem – a platform that digitizes the entire maintenance and service process. The app serves as the entry point for uniquely identifying physical equipment and linking it to its digital information.

Two key functions:

1. Connecting equipment to tags
Link an asset to a dynamic tag – via QR code or NFC, or with an external unique NFC or QR code.

Select the equipment

Click "Connect"

Select the desired tag method

The app automatically links the tag to the equipment's public information page.

This ensures that information such as technical data, documents, maintenance history, and relevant notes are always readily available.

2. Scan Dyntag and Retrieve Information

When you launch the app, you can scan a tag directly – via:

QR code

NFC
The app automatically recognizes whether it's a Dyntag or an external code.

If the tag is linked → the asset profile opens.
If no link exists → you receive an error message.

This gives you access to the linked item in seconds – without any searching or effort.
