About this game

Kifu Master is a professional game record (kifu) manager and SGF viewer that brings one of the world's most comprehensive digital Go (baduk / weiqi) archives right into your pocket.
Designed with elegance and clarity, it lets you review professional matches and record your own games as they happen.

PROFESSIONAL GAME DATABASE
Kifu Master launched with over 160,000 professional Go games, and the database keeps growing every day. From the most prestigious title tournaments in Japan, Korea, and China, to international matches and world-class events like the Honinbo, Meijin, Kisei, LG Cup, and Samsung Cup, all the way to historical games — this archive has it all. And it's far more than just an unsorted collection: an intelligent search and filtering system helps you find exactly what you're looking for, quickly and effortlessly. Search and browse games by Lee Sedol, Cho Chikun, Ke Jie, Iyama Yuta, and countless other masters — by name, event, or year.

In this carefully curated database, player names are matched and unified across languages. Kifu Master automatically normalizes inconsistent romanizations of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean names, so a search for "Lee Changho" or "Yi Ch'ang-ho" returns the same player. Different spellings of a player's name across other Asian languages are also linked under a single identity — a user searching for "이창호" and another searching for "Lee Changho" arrive at one unified set of results.

PLAY FROM MEMORY
Think you've memorized a game? Then play the moves yourself on the board! As you make the correct moves, the game continues, and your statistics record how many moves you've memorized from each game.

PERSONAL LIBRARY
Kifu Master lets you create and store your own game records.
- Import/Export: Export games as SGF or PNG files, and import SGF files from outside the app.
- Organized Archive: Find what you're looking for instantly with the "Favorites" and "Recent" sections.
- Offline Access: Review games you've downloaded to your device, even without an internet connection.

ADVANCED SGF VIEWER
Kifu Master combines the elegant, advanced SGF viewer of the Sabaki ecosystem with a vast Go archive — and enriches it with features unique to Kifu Master: adjustable-speed autoplay, the option to show or hide board coordinates, and a selection of board themes including Ayvalık, Kimchi, Sakura, and Dao.

MULTI-LANGUAGE SUPPORT
Kifu Master is available in English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Russian and Turkish.

FREE AND PREMIUM
The free version lets you review the first 6 games you select and add 3 of them to your favorites. If you enjoy the experience, the monthly Premium subscription removes all in-app limits and unlocks unlimited use of every feature.

FEEDBACK
For bug reports, suggestions, or new feature requests, please reach out to me directly. Kifu Master was built solo by a fellow Go player and is maintained by a single developer — which means everything you write comes straight to me, and I read all of it. Your requests can sometimes show up in the app sooner than you'd expect.

Enjoy your games!
