Love this game. Simple. Fun. Aesthetically pleasing. Only reasons it doesn't get 5 stars: = I feel like the ball physics are inconsistent or perhaps just too sensitive? Too many times I've lost a run by hitting a ball in a place where I'm sure it will behave a certain way and it doesn't. = The difficulty jump from Sun to Black Hole is ludicrous. = This one isn't a huge deal, but having a button to quit a level before you lose would be a huge improvement.

Hopedown is simple and satisfying, easy to pick up and put down any time. It is somewhat repetitive and a bit short unless you count black hole mode, but at my skill level I'm lucky to break 1000m, I have no idea if there's an end or what's down there. I still come back to this game fairly often because it's just so enjoyable, thank you for making it!

Cute, unique, take on the genre, cool art style, and a little addictive. I can't really give it more than ā

due to 1: there are only a handful of planets and the game can be finished in one sitting, and 2: the pacing of the game feels very weird. You can earn a ton of currency doing very little and max everything very quickly. It makes the game absurdly easy and kind of pointless. If they update and more planets, more things to purchase, and maybe balance it out a little, 5/5 highly recommend.
