Boxline Dot Claim brings the classic pen-and-paper dot game to your phone — clean, calm, and completely offline.

Tap near any line between two neighbouring dots to draw it. Complete the fourth and final side of a box and you claim it, filled with your colour, and you get to go again immediately — chain together several claims in a row if one line closes off more than one box at once. When every line on the grid is drawn, whoever claimed the most boxes wins.

It sounds simple. It isn't. Every line you draw either stays safe or hands your opponent a free box — reading the board two and three moves ahead is the whole game.

HOW YOU PLAY
• Play vs AI — three distinct difficulty levels, from a relaxed random opponent up to a chain-counting strategist that reads the board ahead
• Duo — pass-and-play on one device, the grid flips automatically so it always reads right-side-up for whoever's drawing
• Learn — a plain-language rules primer plus a "safe move?" mini-puzzle that tests whether you can spot a line that gives away a free box before you play it
• Stats — a full ledger of wins, losses, streaks, boxes claimed and puzzles solved
• Awards — eight milestones to chase, from your first finished match to beating the toughest AI

THREE AI LEVELS
• Novice — plays legally but with no particular plan, good for learning the ropes
• Careful — never hands you a free box while a safer line exists
• Master — the same discipline as Careful, plus a genuine lookahead: it simulates several moves ahead to weigh its options, and when forced to sacrifice, it deliberately opens the shortest possible chain

CHOOSE YOUR GRID
Pick a 4×4, 5×5 or 6×6 dot grid before every match — smaller boards for a quick round, larger ones for a longer, deeper contest.
