ePub is a free and open e-book standard by the International Digital Publishing Forum (IDPF). Files have the extension .epub. It is designed for reflowable content, meaning that the text display can be optimized for the particular display device. The feature of ePub, especially compared with Word and PDF formats, the content in an ePub book is not pre-formatted as fixed book pages. When a reader device displays the content of an ePub book, it formats the content into pages according to the display size and text font. So when you are reading an ePub book, all you have to do is only flipping the pages. You don't have to zooming or panning the window to view the page parts out of the displayed area.

This freeware makes your Android phone become an ePub reader. It manages the .epub files you imported from SD card or downloaded from web sites, and let you read them by flipping as books, or by browsing as web pages. This software is not bound to any book store or online library. In addition, it provides you some web-site links to download DRM-free ePub files. This software performs a rapid, low power-consumption method to format a chapters into book pages. If you are familiar with web browsing, the software reserves the function that lets you read the chapters as raw web pages.

The software is a lite reader for ePub format, with lower power and memory consumption, and can run smoothly on low-end Android phones.

- It's also a downloader: The software is not bound to any book store or online library. It has a built-in web browser. You can visit any web site with this browser by entering a url. When you click a hyper link to an .epub file, the software downloads and imports this .epub file for your convenience. If you don't know where to download ePub books, the software provides you a list of web sites.

- Various operation modes: You can choose to read ePub files as web pages or as books. If you choose to read ePub books by page flipping, you can further choose to flip the pages by tapping or sweeping.

- Remembering the last reading position and bookmarks: The software automatically remembers the last reading position and used text size of each book for you. In addition, you can also remember the current reading position by adding a bookmark.

- Rapid running and low power consumption: This software does not kill your battery.

Good simple epub reader Note that the flip by taping is an awful feature please fix it... If you download this app untick the flip by taping and choose "read chapters as web page" ... It's a very lightweight app that does it's job that's why I give it 5 stars ... Keep it that way but plz try to improve navigating through the pages

One of the best This is one of the best readers I tried. - Web mode is great, especially for technical books - graphics, source code, tables. - Great CSS support. Many other readers I tried don't support well bulleted lists, tables. This one does. - Fast chapters loading. Many readers are too slow for some books, they take over 20 seconds to load the next chapter. This one is fast. Would be nice if implemented: Image popup zoom.

Can be better I've been using this app for quite sometime now and on the regular, it's good. But with some books, I can't read almost all the pages. I get some sort of information stating how the pages can't be read but I can read those books fine with my Sony e-reader on my PC. I'm not going to uninstall it but I'm going to get a new epub reader.

I'm Tolerating This App I'm noticing that a lot of the words are running together. This is extremely annoying when trying to read a book with some speed. Bad experience with losing my page when closing. This, in all honesty, is one of the worst reader apps I have ever used. I am only using it because it's the only way I can read certain books for free. Sucks.

Bookmarks are unreliable Overall I was satisfied with the service provided by this application. At first, the included feature to bookmark pages seemed incredibly useful. That changed once all my bookmarks seemed to have disappeared and simply redirected me to one of the chapters of the book instead. This resulted in hours of research and bookmarking lost, causing a major productivity loss. It's a good application to read, but I'd recommend using a different application if you want to make notes and save bookmarks.

Trying to flip pages is a nightmare! What the hell people? This is a pile of junk! Froze up on several books, pages going bright, then dim, then pink?? And the worst of all... Page flipping nightmare! Uninstalling fast as i can!

Loses page when closed. Well the app does work well for loading ePub files that you may have downloaded, the program has many feelings. Each time that I have to close the app I have to relocate the place in the book that I was at previously, this is a major pain if it's been a couple of hours or days since you last picked up your book. Secondly, as many others have pointed out this app does not have a normal page turning as you would see with a Kindle app. While this app does work for basic needs it is not one I would recommend.

Back option and page leafing I frankly love this reader. But I have two issues. 1st the back option takes you to the main page with the current books. When browsing through multiple folders for a book this gets a little annoying to constantly find your way from the main page again and again. 2nd flipping pages is ridiculous. It would be better suited to have page leafing instead of the current side tapping to turn the pages.

Just one small thing I love it it works but I would like to recommend that there be a auto bookmark future where you pick up where you left off and not have to make lots of bookmarks when you need to close the app

It doesn't load my ePub books automatically. I have to manually import one by one! Lithium reader automatically downloads all your ePub books. Not so this app! Please update it.

Love it, few permissions as well. It doesn't want to access my id, phone info, messages, WiFi information so I am really loving this app that let's me read my books in peace and in private.

Overall a pretty terrible app. Looks atrocious, no search function (seriously?), the settings are lacking, and the way it loads pages that don't fit on your screen but still make you scroll just screams "We were too cheap to hire an actual UX designer!"

It reads epub thats it. It does not have flip animation which i was looking for. And flipping pages really is a pain. I have to press every end of a chapter. And the night mode turns everything black including the letters

The fastest and simplest It never fails as it is a lightweight reader without ornaments , just the basics.it's very quick to load and to turn pages over. I love the yellowish old book paper theme .

Doesn't recognize memory catd It only opens documents on the builtin memory device. So I couldn't open any of my books. I presume the rest of the app works, but I was unable to verify this.

If you change the screen orientation, the book goes to the first page. I can't continue from a bookmark I've saved. When changing pages, an animation plays that takes me to the same page and after a few moments it will show the next page. Two stars because technically you can read epubs with it.

Not perfect Only thing I don't like is that the screen turns off while reading. Wish there was a setting for this app where the screen didn't time out. I like how you can scroll as web instead of flipping through pages.

One of the Best I've tried many ereader apps. This is one of my top three epub ebook readers. I rate it a very solid four. It's easy to use and handles large libraries easily. It's a simple epub reader, good for new users.
