It does notify when news happens BUT when the notification is clicked on, the specific news item does NOT come up. Just the home cbs7 page. Probably the story is buried in there somewhere but, in my opinion, it should open up the specific story without have to search.

This new one sucks ! The old one was so much better why mess with one that worked. Why did you have to go and screw up a perfectly good news app ? This is the way I got my local news.

Wouldn't load at all, downloaded it and it said that "I" had a network connection problem, to try again. I did not have a network problem and will not try again.
