Ratings and reviews

Tried many different weather apps, kept coming back to this one, even for all the different regions whose weather I pay attention to. It is the weather we're looking at, which can not be managed or accurately forecasted very far out. It seems that recently, as technology becomes more woven into meteorology, that forecasts, particularly more than a day or two out, miss the mark more often than hit it. I still like and use this format over other options.

Lately I have NOT been getting alerts for weather I have chosen until I open the app. It used to alert no matter what, maybe it's my phone but I've done everything I can do allow the app to send alerts. The battery optimization is "unrestricted", it has data and location at all times, I just don't get it. Doesn't give me the peace of mind anymore.

I really liked this app before this most recent version. I really liked being able to see the current temperature on my status bar with just a glance at my phone. Now there is just a blob there that appears to resemble clouds. This does not help me. All my settings in app and on my device are still set to support the temperature display but yet a blob is shown instead
