Tried many different weather apps, kept coming back to this one, even for all the different regions whose weather I pay attention to. It is the weather we're looking at, which can not be managed or accurately forecasted very far out. I still like and use this format over other options.*updated 5/2/26* unreliable during storms. I have screenshots of several hours of 100% of heavy thunderstorms and only sprinkles happen. Or giant hail is headed towards us, we get ready and bupkus.

When you have an app set to no notifications and no permissions but yet it still plays a notice over your Bluetooth devices it's incredibly annoying. especially when trying to speak at a conference with hearing aids connected. This app had no permissions in it or in the setting for it. The phone was on DND. Seriously unhappy with the KY3 weather app.

Lately I have NOT been getting alerts for weather I have chosen until I open the app. It used to alert no matter what, maybe it's my phone but I've done everything I can do allow the app to send alerts. The battery optimization is "unrestricted", it has data and location at all times, I just don't get it. Doesn't give me the peace of mind anymore.
