The Tongariro Alpine Crossing App has been developed by local tour guides, who have walked the Crossing many hundreds of times. The purpose of this app is to give you all the information you need to plan, and to have a safe and hassle free day. It takes all the guess work out of your day, from what to take and how to get there, to providing in-depth knowledge, audio commentary, as well as offline maps. We have worked in consultation with the NZ Police and Land Search and Rescue, to help provide you with some practical information you might need while dealing with any unfortunate situations or injury’s that may occur. Most importantly NO annoying in APP Ads.
