About this game

Isle of Arrows is a fusion of board game and tower defense, in which you place randomly drawn tiles to build defenses on an ever-growing piece of land.

* Tile-Placement meets Tower Defense: Isle of Arrows is a unique blend of genres that adds a new strategic puzzle element to the Tower Defense formula.
* Roguelike structure: Each run is randomly generated with different tiles, enemies, rewards and events. Playing through campaigns unlocks more elements to appear in the game.
* Modes & modifiers: A variety of game modes, guilds, game modifiers, and challenges make each playthrough unique.


Gameplay
Each round, you get to place a tile on the isle for free. Spending coins allows you to skip to the next tile immediately. When you're ready, call the next enemy wave and watch your placed defenses in action.

There are 50+ tiles in Isle of Arrows:
Towers attack the invaders. Roads extend the path the enemies walk on. Flags grow the isle, giving you more space to build. Gardens reward you with coins. Taverns boost all adjacent archery towers. And so on.

Ratings and reviews

Worth the price if you like tower defense. The game is unforgiving and forces you to fail to learn, so you will lose before you manage to pass levels. Factions completely change the way the levels are played, and the diverse amount of tiles and content ensures you will always have something to do. Also, the art style is fantastic.

There's a genuinely good game buried underneath terrible RNG, awful in-game economy, and atrocious difficulty. Any time you design a game where a player can make every possible right move and still lose, your game sucks. I'm giving it an extra star because some of the concepts it introduces (mazing, pathing, land as a resource) are unique in this genre. However, they buried these concepts under poor game design choices. Easy uninstall until its fixed.

great game found out about it from watching yt on school computers looked so fun seeing the Civil engineer playing and really wanted to play my way since there's so many approaches for many different reactions depending how you wanna play, sounds like an ad but genuinely how you'll look at the game after awhile, love the concept and game so much it's worth the 5 bucks but you won't know that without playing it first, if only they used there profits to advertise better or just make a demo for ppl
