With Thronefall we tried to strip a classic strategy game from all unnecessary complexity, combining it with a healthy amount of hack and slay. Build up your base during the day, defend it til your last breath at night.

Will you be able to strike the right balance between economy and defense? Do you need more archers, thicker walls or an additional mill? Will you keep the enemies at bay with your longbow or charge your horse right into them? It's going to be a tough night, but nothing beats seeing the sun rise above your little kingdom to live another day.

Its rare that you see a game actually be exactly what it wants to be. I love the gameplay loop and honestly the only thing I could ask for is more. Not in a way that means there isn't enough but rather I love what's there and would be so happy to see it continue to grow. also, I'd love to see some small customization like changing the color of your king/queen and horse

It's a basic real-time strategy game. The aesthetics are very nice; the individuals are colorful and distinct, and the environment is nice. The controls work surprisingly well; this is one of the better-integrated sets of controls I've seen in a while. Still, it's formulaic, even if it dresses the formula up differently, and the difficulty curve is rather shallow; after the tutorial it's not very forgiving.

Amazing game with great touch controls that work really well on mobile. I have not encountered any major bugs or crashes. So why only 3 stars? This game absolutely needs the ability to save mid-level. I understand this was originally made for PC, but porting this to mobile means you need to take this medium into consideration. The vast majority of people playing on mobile are doing so in ~5-15 minute bursts. Not being able to save means I have to start the level all over again.
