About this app

Notice patterns. Stay private. Feel grounded.

Ground State Mood is a simple way to check in with yourself daily. Log how you’re feeling, review your recent history, and keep everything stored locally on your phone. No accounts, no ads, no cloud sync — just a calm space to observe emotional patterns on your terms.

What you can do:
Log in seconds — choose from six feeling options (Joy, Calm, OK, Low, Anxious, Angry) and add an optional private note.
See today’s entries — notice how you feel throughout the day at a glance.
Review your week — Monday to Sunday summary with colour-coded history to spot patterns.
Export when ready — generate a CSV with UK dates by default (dd/mm/yyyy), or switch to Google Sheets-compatible ISO (yyyy-mm-dd).
Manage your data — copy your 7-day summary to share, or clear all data when you need a fresh start via Settings — Clear all data.
Simple Settings — About screen with version info; no complicated configuration.

Privacy you can trust:
All your mood data stays on your phone. We don’t create accounts, collect analytics, or sync to the cloud. If you want to share your history with a therapist, doctor, trusted person, or keep a personal backup, export a CSV via the system share sheet (Mail, Google Drive, Files). And you can remove all data at any time via Settings — Clear all data.
You decide what happens with your data — always.

Thoughtful design:
Large, accessible buttons. Clean layout with no clutter. Calm colour palette. No pushy notifications. No pressure to maintain streaks. No graphs that need special interpretation. Just a straightforward tool that respects your time and your privacy.

Who it’s for:
Anyone wanting to build emotional awareness through gentle daily reflection. Whether you’re working with a professional and want data to discuss, or simply want to notice how external factors affect your mood, Ground State Mood gives you a private space to check in.
This isn’t therapy, and it doesn’t diagnose or treat anything. It’s a practical tool for self-awareness — like keeping a diary, but focused and structured.

You’re in control of your data:
No sign-ups. No subscriptions. No hidden data collection. Everything you log stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to export it. That’s how privacy should work.

Data Safety Declaration;
Data collected: None
Data shared: None

Security practices:
All data is stored locally on the user’s device
No accounts or authentication
No analytics SDKs or third-party trackers
No background network activity or cloud sync
Optional CSV export via Android’s system share (Mail, Google Drive, Files)
Exported CSV generated on-device; only shared by explicit user action

Data handling summary:
The app does not collect, store, or transmit user data to external servers. Mood entries and notes are saved locally. If a user exports a CSV, the file is created on-device and shared through Android’s built-in share sheet; the app itself never sends data to any network destination.
