Review from A Google User
Love it! I use this to communicate with church and school. Love the ease of access and simplicity. Would love a pop up notification feature aside from push messages. Otherwise, this is a perfect app!
It's a good app but there are times I have to Uninstall the app then install it again because my messages disappeared. I also been having problems with the notifications, it alerts me 1 out of several replies during a group chat. I have had this app for years and it use to work great I am not sure what happened. However it is fast and gives you a lot of control over the groups you create.
The best ever group messenger. It's so light, has a standard look, loaded with lots of features and just simply awesome... You could connect anywhere & have fun... Just grab it 😉 But it has some issues which really need to be resolved. It's not able to send photos and even sometimes text regardless the full wifi or data connection Please do rectify it so that that I would give it 5 stars.. 🙏
This app could use night mode (just like the ios version has), the ability to tag a whole group for when most are silenced, and the ability to change my profile picture for certain groups. I want to use groupme for professional and personal use and I'd rather not have that funny profile picture I use with my friends to get used with colleges. I really want a reason not to use Slack, don't push me away.
The only reason I give it 3 stars is because I have to use it for work and get 50 million notifications a day. If there was a way to only see notifications from certain people rather than the whole group I might like it more. However, this app can easily be replaced by using group texting.
We use this to communicate at work and I have had alot of issues with it. I don't know why? If you could please get back to me on how to maximize all the potential that groupme has, that would be great
It keeps kicking me out of the group if i fail to use the group. I have a better idea. Dont kick someone out of the group if they dont respond to the messages. Or send a notification asking of you still want to be a part of this group but not to the point where it annoys you.
GroupMe can now be installed on SD cards!
- Fixed crash some people saw when trying to view the GroupMe emojis.
- Other bug fixes and performance improvements.
