GrowSpot is a houseplant care app that tells you whether a plant can thrive in the exact spot you have in mind — and it tells you honestly.

Most plant care apps ask which room a plant lives in. GrowSpot reads the spot, not the room.

🌿 SPOT-LEVEL PLANT MATCHING
Every window, shelf, and balcony corner is its own little climate. GrowSpot scores each plant-spot pair on light, warmth, humidity, and airflow: light and airflow are read at the spot itself, while warmth and humidity are worked out from your local weather and whether the spot is indoors, on a balcony, or outside. If a spot won't work, it says so before you move the plant. Give two balcony spots different directions and GrowSpot can tell you why the left side works and the right side doesn't.

💡 BUILT-IN LIGHT METER
Hold your phone right where the plant will live and the light meter reads that spot in lux. No guessing from a room name, and no fake precision: it measures in daylight and tells you when the sun is too low or the weather too poor for a reading it would trust. What the light meter can't measure, GrowSpot works out from your local weather and how you described the spot — and it marks which readings were actually measured. When it can't tell, it says so instead of making a number up.

💧 WATERING REMINDERS THAT FOLLOW THE WEATHER
Your plant care schedule here isn't a fixed timer. Watering reminders and fertilizer schedules adapt to your local weather, the season, and the spot each plant lives in — indoors, on a balcony, or outside. Heat wave or cold snap, watering shifts with it, and for plants on a balcony or outside feeding pauses until it passes. Repotting reminders are timed to your plant's own spring growth window.

📸 PLANT IDENTIFIER AND PLANT DOCTOR
Snap a photo to identify a plant. For a houseplant already in your garden, another photo checks on it when it's struggling: GrowSpot reads that photo together with the spot's real conditions, so the diagnosis is grounded in where your plant actually lives instead of generic advice. Every check, move, and milestone lands in a growth album that tells your plant's whole story.
