I'm a very experienced gas safe engineer. This app doesn't work which is disappointing! The idea is you can identify a combination boiler pump to see if a UPS3 will fit, but the app never ever recognises the existing pump. Grundfos would make so much more money if the app actually worked. Or maybe if they had a backup database within the app where it lists which makes and models would be compatible. Sorry but might as well uninstall it

It merely suggested I replace my old pump with the exact same model. Didn't offer or more efficient alternative. My current pump doesn't have a p/n id on the plate. It's old. Being offered same as an upgrade is pretty poor.

Product number wasn't recognised. Phoned Grundfos who said existing pump was OEM unit made for British Gas, despite the same model being sold on eBay. Were unable to recommend a replacement, just kept telling me to phone British Gas. So app is useless,just like Grundfos it seems. Sourced a same size uniit from the local plumb shop - job done
