For the record this tool is exceptional, it correctly monitors wakelocks and usage very well. It makes good use of available data, yet there is data available to make it even more useful. For example in app sucker, it has a breakdown of all the apps. This includes kernel and android system, and breaks down these into their modules, but does not expand the percentage use of these modules only outlining the count of wake locks caused. Which is useful too of course!
'App Sucker' Feature Currently the app doesn't monitor the apps (at least for non rooted Pixel) so it can't/won't display which apps have been hogging the most battery. But other than that everything else seems to work. This could be a Nougat hurdle, the feature did work on my older phone and I was able to monitor which apps were using most battery. Would be great if fix in the works. Thank you for the great app.
So far, so good on my Alcatel running 4.4.2. Has some nice features I wasn't expecting like sorting by CPU usage and network data usage. However, the app is pretty "heavy" with bells & whistles that may or may not be useful (graphs, icons, themes, etc). It also has ads that can only be turned off if you allow the app to collect anonymous usage data. Remove the ads and trim the fat and I'd give it 5 stars.
App gives you great insights regarding battery use. Suggestion. It could let user use decimals for temperature alarm, at list on a 0.5 Celsius degree basis. Alarm once triggered should not alarm at each 0.1 Celsius degree increment. User can configure more than one alarm and is supposed to be aware of the maximum he can support. At least make it a preference or a dismiss button inside notification.
Does its job but, but as someone else has mentioned, it would be nice to know WHEN a particular app caused the massive drain. There are times I see 'xxxx' was largest offender... but I knew it was last used hours ago when I used it - it'll be nice to tap an app and get a graph of when it drained battery (like 'battery mix' app) then you can see if it happened while you were asleep or something
It seems to work ok, but the option to "enable more stats" through ADB only sticks until the app is shut down. When it is opened again, it tells me I need to enable the stats again? I am doing it correctly because it shows "success" and I am able to view the stats fine until I exit the app. So it clearly is not retaining the information. If this is fixed I will rate the app higher.
