Makesmith is a cozy, visual project tracker built for anyone who loves working with their hands. Whether you knit, carve, paint, stitch, or build, this app helps you log every handmade project and keep your creative momentum going. The Dashboard welcomes you with large, wooden spool-style counters that show exactly how many projects are currently in progress and how many you have finished. A prominent quick-add button lets you jump straight to the New Project form whenever inspiration strikes. Inside the All Projects tab, your work is displayed as a scrollable pegboard of hanging cards, each suspended from a metallic hook by a colorful yarn string. A red string means the project is in progress, green signals a finished piece, and blue marks a planned idea, so status is instantly recognizable. Tapping any card reveals options to edit the details or delete the entry, keeping your workspace tidy and up to date. When you add a new project, you simply give it a name, specify the craft type, select a status from three toggle buttons, and optionally add notes about materials or next steps. Saving the form takes you directly back to your pegboard view so you can see your latest creation hanging among the others. The Craft Types tab gathers every distinct craft category into a grid of stitched fabric patches, each showing a count of how many projects belong to that type. Tapping a patch instantly filters your project list, making it effortless to focus on one craft at a time. All your data lives securely on your device, and the app works entirely offline, so your project log stays private and accessible anywhere, from the studio to the couch. There are no accounts to create, no internet connection required, and no distractions—just a warm, hands-on way to keep your ideas organized. By turning your project list into a charming pegboard display, Makesmith turns everyday planning into a small moment of maker joy.
