About this game

GuessFive is a fast, fully offline 5-letter word-guessing game. Guess the
hidden word in six tries, using color-and-shape feedback after every guess
to narrow down the answer.

HOW TO PLAY
- Enter any valid 5-letter word and submit it as a guess.
- Each letter is scored three ways after every guess:
* Correct letter, correct spot
* Letter is in the word, but in the wrong spot
* Letter is not in the word at all
- Feedback is shown with both color AND a distinct shape badge on every
tile, so it stays readable even in Black & White appearance mode.
- Use the on-screen keyboard, which remembers what you've learned about
every letter, to plan your next guess.
- You have six tries to find the word.

TWO WAYS TO PLAY
- Unlimited Practice: a fresh random word every round. Play as many rounds
as you like, any time.
- Daily Challenge: one shared word per calendar day, the same for everyone
playing that day. Come back each day to keep your streak alive. The
daily word is calculated entirely from your device's own calendar date —
it is never downloaded from a server.

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
- See your current and best daily-challenge streak.
- Review lifetime stats: games played, win percentage, and a full guess
distribution chart showing how many tries your wins typically take.
- Your progress is saved automatically and picks up right where you left
off if you close the app mid-round.

APPEARANCE
- Choose between System, Light, Dark, and a pure Black & White theme.
- Every feedback state is distinguishable by shape as well as color, so
the game stays fully playable for colorblind players and in Black &
White mode.

COMPLETELY OFFLINE AND PRIVATE
- No account or sign-in required.
- No ads of any kind.
- No internet access, analytics, or tracking — GuessFive requests zero
Android permissions.
- All progress is stored only in this app's local settings on your own
device.

GuessFive is a small, focused word game built for players who want a
clean, distraction-free daily word puzzle plus unlimited practice rounds,
without ads, accounts, or any always-online requirement.
