The service in general seems good, but the android and iOS apps are both quirky. On android specifically, navigation within lessons is not easy, full/partial screening video restarts it from the beginning, and my screen keeps turning off during video playback (should lock the screen on during playback). Also it is hard to view lesson progress/completion status in app (much easier on website, but still not great). In general need a better UI around the lessons and videos/steps in the lesson.
The tutorial content is really good. I have been using the online version for a while. Good to have access to content on the mobile. The UI is good. Would be nice to have the tools on mobile too. My only issue I'd like fixed is to have the screen not turn off when playing videos (like youtube app etc). I can work around it but always forget to change the time out. Chrome cast support would be awesome if added.
Very happy with app and customer service The app works just as advertised. I had an issue with my annual subscription order and I sent an email to the admin address just before going to bed. When I woke up early the next morning, I had already received a return email and my issue had already been resolved. Great customer service!
There is absolutely NOTHING "free" about this app. I hate being misled like that. Reminds me when itried to get lessons as a kid, and i'd get stuck watching some eddie van halen wannabe shred for an hour and id walk away baffled
Found a song on the acoustic section i wanted to learn and says upgrade for full access. Already thats a notch on my belt to never pick those apps and whats with the log in with email thats another notch on my belt to remember not to pick those types of apps again. Nobody wants to go through that process
"FREE" to look at, free information everyone already knows. The only stuff worth learning has to be paid for. So basically, you can download this app to take up space on your phone/tablet, or you can just buy the whole shebang and THEN download the app. This really should be marketed as an accessory for people who have PURCHASED the lessons that a free instruction app, because there really isn't anything "free" about this. And to reply to your reply, you aren't showing more than 30 second clips. Make it a paid app and open it up a little, or do like Yousician, which is a clearly better product.
