The American Diabetes Association® (ADA) is the nation’s leading voluntary health organization fighting to bend the curve on the diabetes epidemic and help people living with diabetes thrive. The American Diabetes Association’s (ADA’s) Project Power in partnership with CVS Health is an initiative with the aim to help adults and youth identify and lower their risk for diabetes or manage the disease.

Offered in-person or virtually by HabitNu, Project Power is an innovative program from the ADA that raises diabetes awareness and provides diabetes risk reduction education and services to people with diabetes and prediabetes nationwide.

Project Power program promotes making healthy food choices, increasing physical activity, and building family and peer support. Participants will focus on reducing weight through a highly interactive environment that incorporates positive lifestyle modification support, including stress reduction. I enjoyed this Project Power program a lot! The app is user friendly, the videos are short and informative, the scan scale is amazing, the scan watch is pretty and functional, although it counts fewer steps than my Fitbit. I found the food recording log helpful and it made me mindful of my daily intakes. I reached my weight goal and will keep it. The group meeting and discussion were helpful too with Coach Trey's guidance and encouragements! Thank you ADA!!

I really enjoyed participating in Project Power program. This app was a huge part of my daily use. The app was very helpful to use to track my meals, weight, activity, etc. What I felt was very helpful was the daily carb counting and calorie intake. It really helped me control my diet and lose weight. This app is highly recommended.

Coach Yael with Project Power was amazing. The program was great in teaching me about life changing habits to improve my health. I'm not currently diabetic, but I benefited from the lessons. It changed my whole way of thinking about food, diet and health. It was inspiring to learn from other students. Coach Yael could not have been more encouraging or better at facilitating and teaching. I'm not the best student, but Coach Yael was the best teacher/coach anyone could ask for!
