About this app

A visual habit tracker with pixel heatmaps and streak goals

Habit Pixel helps you build daily habits you can stick to. Color a pixel for every check‑in, watch your streaks grow, and keep momentum with smart reminders and home screen widgets — all without accounts or fuss.

Why Habit Pixel works

Pixel dashboard & calendar heatmap: A clean visual that surfaces consistency and gaps at a glance. See your entire habit history as a color‑coded heatmap.
Flexible streak goals: Set daily, weekly, or monthly goals with per‑day targets. Track habits multiple times per day.
Smart reminders: Gentle notifications with quick‑action buttons so you can check in without opening the app.
Widgets (Pro): Multiple home screen and lock screen widget styles — single habit and habits list views.
Notes & mood journaling: Capture how you feel alongside your routine. Add context to every check‑in.
Negative habit tracking: Track habits you want to break, not just habits you want to build.
Categories & organization: Group habits by category, reorder freely, archive and restore anytime.
Tunable UI: Light and dark themes, grid or compact list views, configurable week start (Monday through Sunday).

For any routine you want to build

Whether you're tracking daily exercise, water intake, sleep schedules, reading goals, language learning sessions, pomodoro focus blocks, meditation practice, budgeting check‑ins, or journaling streaks — Habit Pixel makes consistency visible and satisfying.

How it works

1. Create a habit with a name, icon, color, and goal
2. Check in each day — a pixel fills on your dashboard
3. Watch your heatmap grow as streaks build over weeks and months
4. Review your analytics to find patterns in your progress

Great app, one time buy with LOTS of options for widgets, one that shows all habits so it makes sense theyre paid. Free version usable, and habits can be edited. The pixel aesthetic is very cute as well! No ads! Works offline, and has a journal to add entries about habit instead of having to use a separate app! Only habit tracker ive tried that has a place for notes! Unsure how to reset a habit day/edit ticked for 'at least x times per day' seems to only go up, so if you click twice it stays 2/1

The app does what it says and is a great way to keep track of habits and tasks. I like how clear and easy everything is visible. My small feedback is that it would be nice to have easy access to the journal entries like the trackers are. So far, the only way I know how to see journal entries is by holding on specific habits. Wish I could see it in one go through a tab or something. Other than that, I love it. Haven't regretted spending the subscription momey on it.

In what universe should you have to pay money to track more than 3 habits?? I understand charging for special features or something but that feels like they deliberately restrict you so that you pay them. I don't think I would be upset if it was a small one time fee, but you either need to pay a subscription or a one time fee of $30+. Plus the icon for the Pro version is on the main page, doesn't go away, and constantly plays a distracting animation if you aren't subscribed

Hi, I'm the solo developer. I'm sorry you feel restricted—that's just how I support my work as one person, not a company. Every feature takes time to build, and that fee is what allows me to keep going. I hope you understand and how your harsh review hurts my app.
