About this app

Dosiary is a small, private app in three tabs: a diary of the doses you have taken, a plan for the ones that are due, and the medications both of those are about.

It keeps everything on your phone. There is no account, no backend, no analytics and no advertising, and it is excluded from Android's automatic backup, so your medication names are never copied to Google Drive.

THE DIARY
• Log a dose from one bar that carries the amount and the time it is about to record
• Choose which medication it was and how much, from the same list the plan uses
• Both are remembered, so the button opens on whatever you last took
• See how long it has been since your latest dose, at the top of every screen
• Read the day newest-first or in the order it happened, and browse back by date
• Edit a dose, flag it as uncertain, or delete it

YOUR MEDICATIONS
• One list the diary and the plan both read: a name, the unit it is measured in — milligrams, tablets, drops, or a unit you write yourself — and up to eight amounts it comes in
• A form that opens on examples rather than empty boxes
• Log something that is on no schedule at all, which is what an as-needed dose is

THE PLAN
• Put a medication on the plan with its amount, its times of day, and a repeat measured in days, so every-other-day and every-third-day regimens are expressible
• One medication can appear twice, or not at all
• Tick today's doses off as they are taken, tracked separately from the diary

REMINDERS
• A notification, with sound, when a planned dose falls due
• An alarm that repeats — three times, five, or until you stop it — because a single chime is missed by anyone in the next room
• A spoken reminder, set by default to the time alone so no medication is named out loud. You can turn it off, or turn it up

MADE TO READ
• English, German and Arabic, right to left where that applies
• Light or dark, following the system until you pick a side
• Larger text, and animation off
• A 12- or 24-hour clock, and your choice of date layout

PRIVACY
Dosiary has no user accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking or telemetry, and no Haembina-operated backend. The Android app opens no network connection of its own. Full policy: https://haembina.com/privacy/dosiary

NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE
Dosiary is an organizational diary. It makes no dosage recommendations and gives no medical advice. A reminder depends on the device being switched on and on the permissions it has been given, so it must not be relied on as the only safeguard. Always follow the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist.
A private diary of the doses you take, and a plan for the ones that are due.

What’s new

Features
• bring a silenced reminder back until its dose is marked
• carry the return interval and its bound to the phone
• set the alarm's count, gap and return by value on the card
• add a stepper for setting a value rather than picking one
Bug Fixes
• give each stepper a fieldset rather than a group role
• keep a quiet row out of reach when the card repaints
• stop marking a dose widening the previous dose's licence to sound
