Mostly same swell functionality with updated UI (which i actually prefer; widely spaced for fat fingers). Though it means some of the same issues as well. The periodic subscription model for new users is the big turn off. A new feature unlock or totally new app payment scheme would probably be more attractive
Use to work great. Got a new phone and me and my wife's phone stopped syncing. Can't get data from the server. Tried to start fresh and when I tried adding a new account, app has been crashing. Developers Did Reply to my email with procedures, but none of them have worked.
The budgeting has really helped me get in control of my finances. When I reconcile a transaction, it shouldn't shoot me to the bottom of the list, it's a pain to scroll back and find where I was again. Please fix this.
Love this app, but would love to see an unreconciled transaction report. Sometimes I enter a transaction amount wrong, and need to find it. An unreconciled report would allow a quick search. Since we don't have such a report, I manipulate the dates on entries so the unreconciled show below the reconciled on the register. This totally messes with my repeating transactions so it's not a great option. Most of my transactions are repeating, and I love that I can post date them as I project my income and expenses several months in advance of the current date.
The UI has been redesigned again and this time, there was a marginal improvement. On the transaction entry screen, it would be nice if you could change the order of the fields. I prefer the Note field to be at the very bottom, since irarely use it. The problem that has been around for over two years still exists: transfers between accounts are treated as a single item. So you if mark it as reconciled on one account, it is automatically marked as reconciled in the other. This means if your account statements come on different days, you can never reconcile to your statement because whichever one you do last will always be off due to the transfer marked as reconciled from the other account.
IF YOU RECENTLY LOST YOUR LIFETIME STATUS WITH THE LAST UPDATE, READ THIS!! I was a Lifetime user and I installed the latest update and it reverted my account to Free, even though I was not getting any ads, and my cloud sync was still working, although every time I tried to go into the settings it prompted me to upgrade. I contacted support and received an email telling me that I had to make sure it was installed under the account I had purchased it under in the Google Play store, and that I needed to uninstall and reinstall. It sounded fishy, especially since I lost the functionality on an upgrade and not a new install. Anyway, I uninstalled and reinstated and my Lifetime status is back and everything is working fine. This has been a great app and other than a few small hiccups, it continues to be the absolute best personal expense app in both the Google Play and the Apple App stores. I probably would have switched to iPhones a long time ago but you can't get this app or anything close on an iPhone.
