About this app

There’s no need to own a computer and a barcode scanner to manage books in a small library, the Handy Library app has almost features to replace them.
Scan ISBN the first time to get a book's details from the Internet and add it to your library, scan the next time to view the book, write a note, or lend to someone.
This app helps you to catalog your book collection (or a small library) in a convenient way.

NOT AN EBOOK READER APP.

***Free 100 books***

+ Build a small public library, a class library, or a church library,

+ People who often lend books to their friends, or borrow books from a library.
+ Organize items in a bookcase or cabinet.

Organize your bookshelves
Map your physical bookshelves with the virtual bookshelves in the app one by one for easy organizing. And arrange your books into individual bookshelves.

Key Features

The app can export all your books or a bookshelf to a XLS file or CSV file. And you can import a XLS file or CSV file to your library data after editing the import file to have the same column format as the export file of the app.

Keep your data private and safe
All library data is saved at your local device, and the app does not save your data on cloud. Users could create a backup to their Google Drive account and restore anytime.

UPDATE: Finally figured out that once the list is in excel I can email it to myself so much happier with this ap. It is really easy to use. Unfortunately the only place you can keep and view your list is on your phone. Supposedly you can export as an excel but that just goes to the download folder on your phone and then you have to pay to have excel on your phone. If you export as a zip it goes to your One Drive but so far it has not actually exported any list. NO instructions ANYWHERE.

Easy to use with batch scanning. I was surprised at a few of the titles that couldn't be found, but it's easy to add them. The one thing that would make this *perfect* is a place for teachers to add a Lexile number. Even better if it populated with the autofill information. But it's very helpful and useful as-is.

Great app, but....I really need this to be able to sync with all devices, most importantly, a laptop or desktop. If you are on the OCD side, you would want to edit the titles of the books and categorize it more neatly as well. It is great that I almost never have trouble searching up any books, no matter how random I may think it is. However, the title is sometimes typed atrociously or there is a bunch of descriptions or keywords you don't want. I want to edit that quickly using a laptop.

Hello Vickey. Thank you for your feedback. The app does not have a PC version, but you can transfer data between android devices. You could try to export the data to an excel file (xls.) using the "export" function in the app and open the file on your laptop for easy editing, then "import" the data file (xls.) back into the app. Kind Regards.

Wishing you a Happy New Year 2023.
