I am a grad student and needed an app to track hours and expenses for two program-related projects this summer. I tried a bunch, but this is the one - if I was a professional contractor or freelancer I would use a pay tier, it's worth it. Super easy and intuitive and seamless between PC and phone. My only request is that I wish I could include the notes I add to time tracked on invoices.

This app was fine for my business, until the company decided to change the program in an effort to grab more of the market. They increased my cost from just over $160 a year to more than $1200 per year, claiming to having sent one email to notify customers of the increase. When I tried to cancel, they told me I could not get a refund. So now I am out $1200 dollars and do not use the program. in addition, I am paying for a more suitable program. SAD. These are dirty tactics for any business.

Update: The mobile app is still VERY glitchy, If you upload a receipt there is no guarantee that it will actually stick... Same with time entries, it will say uploaded and then disappear hours later. I have uploaded hundreds of receipts and had to go back the next day and re-upload them. You better double-triple-quadruple check this app because it will mess you up in a BIG way.
