Ratings and reviews

Game was a lot of fun when linked with Play Pass. They made a decision at the end of the year to not support it. There was a notification stating that purchases were not going to be affected, which seems to be incorrect (in my case, I lost everything and now would have to buy everything again) and I have sent emails and submitted a ticket with no responses so will be uninstalling because the rate of accruing anything just to play is annoying.

This game is great and I love Risk. I do like that there are two rotating free maps per week. I do wish there was an option to build your maps or game modes without real purchases. I'm never going to spend money on the app, and I'm not going to play every day for a year to save enough gems for one single purchase. So it's fine for a little while then I'll get bored and uninstall. Gem rewards should be directly related to play time or wins. That would incentivize you to play more.

Favors paying players. You can only be black or white if you pay for a premium. If you go up against either color, you are pretty much destined to lose. Every time you play them the dice favor them so unrealistic, it's annoying. I just quit a game white player 12 vs my 8 lost ok I had 7 behind they took that plus 2 other single territories. That's 12 vs. 17, and they still had 6 troops left, which has happened multiple times. I like Risk but can't recommend this game because it pays to win.
