Not even a month since we decide to go back to HBO max after nearly one year pause, it hasn't improved even a bit, the image is always freezing or takes time to load, some other times it just keeps disconnecting from Chromecast, and now the price is going to increase... Good luck with "MAX" I hope you could fix all the issues cause I'm not going to keep paying for something I can't enjoy.

HBO's app needs urgent improvements: 1. Chromecast device menu sometimes lists devices twice, causing confusion. 2. Chromecast icon often fails to appear; restarting the app multiple times may temporarily fix this. 3. New issue: casting occasionally changes audio and subtitle settings. 4. Poor syncing of watch position, requiring app restarts for accuracy. These issues compromise user experience and should be addressed promptly.

A couple of things have improved over time. But overall it's just a terrible streaming experience. The app is completely unresponsive when trying to cast to Chromecast. I usually connect, disconnect and restart the app a few times every time I want to cast something. That's not annoying at all...
