Edit: Rating Downgrade. A big step backwards. The new app adds a useless animated splashscreen before presenting the login button, making it take longer to log in. Once logged in, for some reason my account balance is now obscured, so I have to go through an additional step just to check it. All the extra junk in this new version makes the app so "heavy" that now it frequently doesn't work over cell data connections; it almost requires wifi, which makes it useless as a mobile app.

Absolutely disappointed. When I am trying to verify my mobile number, the application is stuck on the animated HDFC loading screen, I've been trying to complete registration for over a month and I've tried at different times of the day, on my mobile network... I tried re-installing, clearing cache, clearing all data, allowing optional permissions too but still no luck. Kindly help resolve the issue at an earliest. Weirdly, the old application SMS verification works in like 3-5 seconds.

Plain Horrible - I use this to manage my current account. Used to love the convenience of the previous app. It was simple, and to the point. No extravagant animation, no buggy interface, no lags. This app is a massive downgrade - I have lost UPI access, it takes 5 minutes to even open the app. Random pop ups of server issues. Payees don't load 90% of the time. Worst part is I can't go back to the old beloved app. Please don't force this horrible update and allow us to shift back.
