The Heartland Payroll+ App is your one-stop-shop for Time Tracking, Employee Self-Service, Schedules, and more!

TIME TRACKING
Heartland's Time and Attendance system was built with payroll in mind. Employees can track time directly on their mobile device, which syncs with payroll systems ensuring hours are reported accurately and efficiently. With compliance features built in, we make it easy for your employer to keep up-to-date with local labor laws. Other time tracking features include GPS for timesheets, real-time exception notifications to supervisors, tracking paid/unpaid breaks, tips, and more, all to ensure employee paychecks are accurate and timely.

EMPLOYEE SELF-SERVICE
Heartland's Employee Self-Service makes it easy to manage your employee information on a device that’s always with you. Employees will have access to W-2 documents, control their direct deposit information, change tax deductions/withholdings, and update address information.

MANAGE YOUR SCHEDULE
Heartland's scheduling software makes it easy to build and manage employee schedules. Your supervisor can simply drag and drop shifts to open time slots to get started. The moment a new shift is published, a new job is scheduled, or any changes are made to an existing schedule, everyone in the team will be up-to-date with real-time notifications.

REQUEST TIME-OFF
Employees can quickly book time off directly from your mobile device. Managers can stay on top of employee availability by viewing requests in real-time and approving or rejecting requests.

Ratings and reviews

Corporate Buyers: Please do not purchase this app for your company if you have ANY regard for your employees. The app crashes 3 times out of 5 when it's attempted to open. Then will crash again when you try to clock in or out. It requires employees to take a photo of themselves clocking in, clocking out, taking a break or switching job assignments, but it won't record the picture. I have had to retake it five times in a row, in-between photos, the app crashes requiring to try and open it again.

The app sometimes lags a bit, and if you're not careful to check, your punch might not go through. Also, since the recent update, not all the options from the menu are available, at least not to me. I like the convenience of the app and the simplicity of having the ability to clock in and out as needed.

I think it's poorly put together. It allows people to request shift swaps, even if I'm already scheduled for the exact same shift or have the time marked unavailable. My schedule is all messed up, so I have to go sort through team schedule to even see my correct shifts; this costs me a lot of time and leaves room for error. I would prefer there's a full calendar view to quickly look at my upcoming schedule. Also, if would be nice to be able to sync my work schedule with my calendar I use.
