About this game

ChessSprout turns chess tactics into a short daily habit. Solve 1,000 offline puzzles across 10 chapters, starting with simple checkmates and growing into multi-move combinations.

Tap a piece and its destination to play. If you miss a move, the puzzle goes into your review list. Try it again, then replay the example solution move by move and see its chess notation. A daily puzzle from your current chapter gives you another reason to practice.

Your puzzle progress stays on your device. You can export and import it with Android's document picker, including to Google Drive when that provider is available. Puzzles work without an internet connection; ads may require one. Hints are optional and use rewarded ads.

Puzzles are selected from the Lichess CC0 database. The displayed ratings are Lichess puzzle ratings. ChessSprout is not affiliated with Lichess.
