Hi, we're Dan, Jonas, Trevor, the crew behind Hello Weather. There are a million weather apps out there, and they're all overloaded with ugly ads, confusing interfaces, and stupid gimmicks. We think that stinks, so we made the antidote—a straightforward, no-nonsense app that’s a joy to use.

Ratings and reviews

The best-looking, easiest to use weather app I have tried (and I've tried a lot). Has all the information I need, presented in an attractive, easy to digest fashion. Does not collect or sell user data. My only complaints are about the radar: I wish that the radar did not run so fast, or that there was an option to step through it in increments. Also would like to be able to toggle easily between showing current precipitation and future precipitation without going to the settings.

A better view of data from The Weather Channel, AccuWeather and others. The app is really well done and is worth exploring. However, I hope the app is still maintained. The last update was 9/24, and their Medium blog post about the current version shows a 410 error. I've gladly paid $5.99/year but may not renew if their isn't some engagement from the developers such as a more accessible blog than Medium or communication via the Play Store.

Was looking for a replacement for Dark Sky and this was a close second! It's the best looking app I saw. Some things I'd like to see to make it my number one: temperature displayed in the notification instead of current conditions, updates to the FAQ (the info there for how to display wind and cancel subscription is wrong), better value for dollar (happy to support indie devs but feel other apps provide more value for the money). I don't use the radar or widget so can't comment on those.
