The HELP Elephant Training app provides easy to follow exercises and simple explanations that will enable elephant trainers, mahouts and managers to train the basic responses effectively and kindly. Short animations to guide the trainer through each stage of training. This app covers the basic responses required by all captive elephants including forward and backward steps, foot placement, trunk control and lying down and is aligned with the Five Domains Model of Animal Welfare. It is a sustainable and ethical tool created for the benefit of the 14,000 elephants that remain in captivity across Asia.
