The app is extremely polished, functional and mature. For me, this is even more remarkable when considering that Heptabase is a whiteboarding and visual based application. This kind of app is normally a nightmare on mobile devices, but I can perfectly carry our many workflows I would on PC. Additionally, the app is performant and bug free (from what I've used it). Normally this kind of maturity comes years after first release on mobile (notion comes to mind) but Heptabase just nails it 🎯.

Four stars because the UI decidedly looks a little more simple/dated on the phone in comparison to tablets or PCs. I think not being able to adjust scaling is bad here since large phones will have it look senior-oriented with these big buttons. Furthermore, on taller aspect ratio screens there should be full-screen mode for the canvas. Top and bottom bars make it unusable, although I can already tell it would be useful. But im saying this because I really like using this app!

Fantastic Concept and App. If you like deep dives and mapping without a linear concept this is the tool. great search function. I love the journal and tag option. their team is fast at getting back with you with how to use. i would like an auto map function. use Ai to see how things are mentioned somewhere in my whiteboard and are they connected?
