Bedtime has turned into a negotiation. The toys are still everywhere. You have asked nicely four times and your voice is starting to change.
Hero Call gives you something new to try: a friendly cartoon hero your child can actually talk to, and a calmer way through the moment.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Tell the app what is happening — bedtime, tidying up, homework, a fight over the tablet, or anything you type in your own words.
2. Choose a hero. Captain Brave for courage. Nova when there are tears. Buddy for the silly moments.
3. Your hero calls. They already know the situation, your child's age, and the language you speak at home.
Your hero talks with your child playfully, patiently and always kindly. They listen, encourage and celebrate. When the call ends you get a short summary.
HOW A CALL SOUNDS
Hero: "Hey Ahmed, Captain Brave here. I heard bedtime is putting up a fight tonight. What's keeping you awake?"
Ahmed: "I want to keep playing."
Hero: "Of course you do. Okay — one last thing, then pyjamas. Deal?"
Ahmed: "Deal."
EVERYDAY MOMENTS THIS HELPS WITH
• Bedtime routine and a child who will not sleep
• Fear of the dark and bad dreams
• Picky eaters and meals that take an hour
• Taking medicine without a battle
• Brushing teeth, bath time and getting dressed
• Tidying up toys and simple chores for kids
• Homework and getting ready for school
• Screen time limits and switching the tablet off
• Toddler tantrums and big feelings
• Sibling rivalry, sharing and fights over toys
• Rude words, answering back and saying sorry
NOT ONLY FOR DIFFICULT MOMENTS
Call a hero to say well done, too. When a room finally gets tidied, or a little brother gets forgiven, your hero can make a proper fuss about it. Children who only meet the hero when they are in trouble learn to dread it, so this app is built around praise as much as problems.
POSITIVE PARENTING, NOT FEAR
This is not an app that frightens children into behaving. There is no pretend police officer, no stranger at the door, no threat of anyone coming to take anything away.
• The hero is always clearly a made-up character
• It never claims to be police, a doctor or any real authority
• It never threatens, shames or labels your child
• It never gives medical advice — those moments come straight back to you
• If your child says something serious, the game stops and you are alerted immediately
• You can mute, send a private hint, take over or end the call at any second
PRIVACY BUILT IN, NOT BOLTED ON
• No recordings of your child are kept
• Transcripts are off by default. Turn them on if you want them, delete everything in one tap
• No advertising anywhere in the app
• No profiling of children, and nothing sold to anyone, ever
• The account belongs to you, the parent, not to your child
MADE TO FIT YOUR FAMILY
• 14 languages, including full right-to-left Arabic
• Male or female hero voices with adjustable speaking speed
• Warm, bright or gentle voice styles
• Three colour themes, set separately for each child
• Optional family values or Islamic values mode
• On-screen captions plus a text-only mode
• Ages 3 to 12, with language that changes as your child grows
WHEN THERE IS MORE THAN ONE CHILD
Two children arguing over the same toy? Add them both. Your hero stays neutral, listens to each one in turn, refuses to take sides and helps them find a fair solution themselves.
WHAT PARENTS STAY IN CHARGE OF
You choose the situation, the hero, the voice, the language and the values. You see every summary. You can whisper a private instruction mid-call that your child never hears.
WHAT THIS IS NOT
Hero Call supports parents. It does not replace them. It is not therapy, not medical advice, and never a substitute for your own judgement about your own child.
