About this game

Doom Scroll is an endless runner built around a single tap. Unlike the scroll it is named after, it knows when to stop: after ten minutes of play — or at the session limit you pick before you start — it asks, once, whether you would like to call it a day. Tap Keep Going and nothing happens.

Your character runs forward at increasing speed, and obstacles approach from the right. Tap to jump. Tap again in midair to double-jump. Hit one obstacle and the run ends. Your distance is your score.

The speed ramp is what gives the game its identity. Early sections feel forgiving, almost meditative. After a hundred meters the obstacles arrive faster than you can comfortably react, and you start playing on rhythm rather than reflex. The further you go, the more the run becomes about pattern reading rather than panic taps.

THREE MODES
- Classic: an endless run; the speed ramps up forever and one hit ends it
- Daily: the same obstacle course as every other player, today only
- Zen: no game over; run until you choose to stop

KEY FEATURES
- One-tap controls with mid-air double jump
- Frame-rate independent physics so the run feels the same on any device
- Two obstacle types (boxes and spikes) with varied spawn rhythm
- Continuous speed ramp tied to distance, no fake difficulty walls
- Personal best, achievements and a run summary you can share
- Sound and haptic feedback toggles in settings
- Safe-area aware UI that respects modern phone screens

PRIVACY AND DATA
Your run records stay on your device. Doom Scroll shows exactly one ad format: a short opt-in rewarded video ("Take a Break"), clearly labelled as an ad, shown only if you tap for it. Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) serves that ad and may access an advertising identifier and basic device information under its own consent flow. RevenueCat processes the single one-time purchase. No account is required. Sentry crash reporting is bundled but not yet active. Full details and the data deletion request process are in our privacy policy at https://onourimpram.github.io/portfolio-41/privacy-policy

LANGUAGES
The app UI is available in 19 languages: English, Turkish, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese (Portugal and Brazil), Dutch, Polish, Romanian, Greek, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Pick yours on first launch or change it any time in Settings.

PREMIUM
Free to play, with one optional one-time purchase: "Ad-free + support" removes the rewarded-ad offer entirely and grants your 3 daily hints automatically, every day. Watching the optional ad never revives a run or grants an extra life — it only ever earns a hint (a peek at today's obstacle pattern), capped at 3 per day.
