Stop guessing when the long weekends are. Stop missing the chance to turn 4 leave days into 11 days off. Long Weekend Planner does the math for you — across **40 countries**, for **2026 and 2027**, **completely offline**.
**The one trick most people don't know**
If you place your leave days *right next to* public holidays, you can stretch a single day off into a four-day weekend — or four leave days into an 11-day trip. Long Weekend Planner shows you exactly which days to book.
**What you get**
• **My Weekends.** A boarding-pass style hero card for the next long weekend ahead, with a countdown — "in 12 days, time to book". Below it, the full year of long weekends, colour-coded by how many leave days you'd need to extend each one.
• **Optimizer.** Tell us how many leave days you have. We compute the top 3 ways to spend them for the maximum days off, ranked gold / silver / bronze. Every strategy tells you exactly which dates to book.
• **40 countries.** Hand-curated national public holidays for 2025, 2026 and 2027 — Hong Kong, UK, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, US, Australia, India, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, UAE, Saudi Arabia and 24 more.
• **Compare two countries.** Planning a trip with someone abroad? Pick your country and theirs — we'll show you when you're *both* off and can travel together.
• **Add to Calendar.** One tap to drop a long weekend (including the suggested leave days) into your phone's calendar.
• **Share.** Long-press any long weekend to share it with friends or a colleague.
**Privacy-first**
No accounts. No tracking. No sign-up. Your selections stay on your device. The only network calls are for a single banner ad on the Countries and Compare tabs — the Calculator and Optimizer are **always ad-free**, because the core math is the product.
**Optional, one-time Remove Ads**
US$4.99 — once, never again. No subscription. No "premium tier" upsells.
**Holiday data**
All public-holiday dates are pre-loaded and offline. We last verified the dataset in May 2026 — labelled clearly inside the app so you know what version you're seeing. We use only the most widely observed *national* holidays (no state/region-specific dates), and we mark lunar/Islamic dates that can shift by ±1 day from moon-sighting.
**Who it's for**
Working adults trying to make their PTO go further. Couples planning trips with limited shared leave. Expats with friends across time zones. Parents lining up school holidays. Anyone who's ever looked at next year's calendar wondering "when can I actually take a break?"
**Estimates only — not legal or HR advice. Always confirm with your employer.**
