Ratings and reviews

First time using the app, and we are excited to visit our first booking soon. The site is easy to use, and the map showing locations is easy to navigate. A good selection of places to stay was available in the area we are interested in staying, with a decent description of amenities offered. The place we selected was quick to contact us and confirm. Very positive experience so far.

It's so buffy. When I type in the message field it's not in real time. It often says that I'm offline when I'm clearly on wifi and any other apps can reach internet. The way notification are handled is not really great either and when someone request to change their bookings the notification doesn't go to the top. This app is really bad on the host side. We moved most of our bookings to other plateformes because hipcamp make it hard to manage from your phone.

this is the BEST idea, we had a great time. the only reason i didn't give 5 stars is from the frustration of not being able to filter searches to just canada. too often i was disappointed to find my search results were only in the states. i recommend getting directions directly from the host, the mapping did not work well. we will definitely be booking through hipcamp again!
