I like the overall presentation of this app, and no ads is a big plus The reason it is only 4 stars is for two things. First, the default settings are clunky. It's in card mode, which I like, but the images are not displayed in full size, so you need to click into the post to view the image fully, or else change the settings to full images by default. Second is the lack of messaging. Lemmy does support messaging, but I was not able to find an option to message. Otherwise, it is great.

I can't find anywhere in the app to leave feedback, so here we go. not particularly customizable, when compared to Boost. you can move the title to the top but nothing else? so you have to read the title and the entire post before you can see what community or instance or user it's coming from. okay, so the developers have a preference for how they use it, but it needs to be able to be changed for the rest of us.

The app is alright, there's nothing too wrong with it. I may be misunderstanding how Lemmy works, but I can't reliably connect to other communities - you find a link to one online but I can't seem to reliably open it in this app (I assume due to infinite urls you'd have to cover) but using the search feature with the link provided (the exclamation point one) doesn't seem to work. Finding and joining a community seems pretty tedious. But overall it's not that bad, it's the best so far.
