Rodovid is a private family tree app that the whole family can build together — without accounts, servers or subscriptions to get started.

DESIGNED FOR OLDER ADULTS
Rodovid follows published usability research for older adults (Nielsen Norman Group findings, W3C accessibility guidelines for older users, WCAG AAA contrast) and academic touch-interaction studies: large buttons and text, contrast above 7:1, every action available with a single tap, nothing hides behind gestures, no timers and no tricks. Grandparents can use it on their own — and they are often the ones who remember the most.

THE FAMILY RELAY
One relative starts the tree and sends the file through any messenger or email. Another relative opens it, adds their part of the family and sends it back. Rodovid merges the changes and shows who added whom. No sign-ups, no cloud — the family history stays in the family.

The free version includes one tree, up to 10 people added by hand and PDF printing with a clearly visible Rodovid watermark. Rodovid PRO — as a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase — removes the limits: unlimited people and trees, merging changes from relatives, GEDCOM import, printing without the watermark.

The subscription renews automatically and can be cancelled anytime in your store account settings. Sending and opening family relay files is always free; the first merge is free.

PRIVACY
No account is required. Your family data never leaves your device unless you yourself share a file. Crash reports and usage statistics are optional and can be turned off in Settings.
