Barakah Ummah Fund is a Shari'ah-governed community fund for Sierra Leone. It turns
small, steady giving into clean water, school roofs and masjid repairs — and shows
every Leone in public, so you never have to wonder where your sadaqah went.

GIVE IN SECONDS, NO ACCOUNT NEEDED
Choose an amount, dial the mobile money code, and you are done. Giving never requires
you to sign up. Start with LE 1 if that is what your heart settles on — it is the
habit that matters, not the size.

Make it a weekly habit with a recurring Jummah pledge, reuse the same code each week,
and cancel whenever you choose. Your giving history and receipts stay in one place.

FOUR SHARI'AH-COMPLIANT FUNDS
Your gift goes to the fund you choose:
• Sadaqah / Zakat — direct relief and community need
• Waqf — lasting endowment
• Mudarabah — profit-sharing investment
• Qard Hasan — interest-free benevolent loans
Money is never mixed between funds, and a project can only draw on the fund it was
raised under.

Nothing is paid until named scholars sign off, and the approval is published beside
the project.

FOLLOW YOUR MASJID
Find masjids by name or district, follow the ones you pray at, and set your home
masjid. See prayer and Jumu'ah times, the leadership, and reminders and announcements
posted by your imam — a khutbah time, a repair finished, a hadith for the week.

STAY INFORMED, ON YOUR TERMS
Choose which notifications you want, category by category. Turn off anything you do
not want to hear about; it still appears in your in-app feed, so you never lose the
record. A weekly Jummah reminder can be scheduled by your phone itself, so it reaches
you even with no internet.

WORKS WHEN THE NETWORK DOES NOT
Projects, fund figures and the pages you have already opened stay readable offline,
clearly marked as a saved copy. Collection agents can record cash given at the masjid
with no signal at all; entries are kept safely on the device and sync when a
connection returns.

GOVERNED BEFORE IT MOVES
Masjid leadership can propose projects. The Shura Board reviews every proposal and
every payment. The finance team records spending with signed receipts. Each of those
decisions is visible in the app.
