It starts with a fussy newborn and her physically tired and mentally exhausted parents.

They have tried to calm their crying baby but nothing worked. Her father, a Cornell University graduate and former GE engineer, finnally identified his baby slept better beside the fireplace of living room, with low warm-white light and crack of a fire sound.

He realized the sleep therapy compounded of lights and sounds as the cure to newborns and even parents. But after scouring stores across the US for one easy-to-use bedside device compounded of lights and sounds, he came up empty-handed.

That's when the idea for Hotmoon Lullight was born.

Ratings and reviews

The app is overall nice and connects pretty fast to the lamp, but it would be nice to define custom scenes that can be turned on/off at specific times, having the timer only for the music. Maybe it could also connect to the lamp automatically as soon as the app launcher, so that we don't need to choose the lamp, when there is only 1 lamp available? Thanks a lot!

Doesn't always connect to device, will freeze or just spin and never connect. When it does work, it's fine! Sometimes, the light does switch colors and sounds by itself, too. App needs some work.

It's been month, my phone has had several updates and the app will not open. Tried emailing customer service never got a response. This app at this point is completely useless, which almost makes the night light itself useless. Very disappointed
