It works with my Samsung Galaxy 3, but not with my Samsung Galaxy 8+. The first finger sensor worked for a week before it became erratic. They replaced it and that worked most of the time.
By far the most expensive HRV app, or app for that matter. You would expect support to be stellar. Mailed with a concern 2 days ago and no reply. Money down the toilet.
I bought this as it was mentioned as the app of choice by someone who seemed vaguely sensible on a podcast. As clearly stated, there are limited HR straps that work with it - not Garmin, so new HR strap was also required. I think the pro version gives you upload to training peaks and other external platforms - not done that yet, but expect to do so in due course
Very interesting. Good science behind it and a nice to autoregulate if you have a tendency not to listen to your body.
Have not used it except to get the reading
Issue with Pixel phones, must have location services turned on! And it won't tell you. Maxed out on a bike ride and next day got on of lowest readings, as expected. Elite HRV told me I was good to go for a hard workout, what a joke. I was wasted!this has a very nice graphic to follow along with your breath during the test. Product support tries, but they're obviously overworked.
The ithlete v3 brings a complete interface redesign. Users can record additional metrics alongside their morning HRV measurement to build a comprehensive picture of health and fitness, identifying trends and patterns in the body’s response.
This version (3.25):
- Reorganisation of subjective markers at end of measurement
- Support for smaller screens
- Minor bug fixes
