Very accurate Ithlete Pro is surprisingly accurate! More than 90% of the time my subjective sense of energy and recovery is reflected in my HRV score and Ithlete's training recommendations. I am quite impressed.
Connection Issues I can never get it to work unless I restart my phone every time. Measurements are usually close to Bioforce, but about 5-10 off from Sweet Beat. HRV is a good overall health check that you can do from home, but it's still too new to really say how good. For now, I just use it to tell me when to stop exercising.

Very variable results, but that's HVR not the fault of the app (I think!) I'm not convinced of the usefulness yet. Am trying to be very controlled following the breathing rhythm, but taking repeated readings can vary by 40+. I find the Polar Ownzone very accurate, which is why I wanted to look more at HRV, although do have to be careful setting it up too. This is quite an expensive system to get started. Will continue, observe and report back after a few weeks!
