HS Player is a fast, lightweight video player for Android. Play videos stored on your device, open HTTP/HLS network streams, and send them straight to your TV with Chromecast.

• Every video on your device, automatically organized by folder

• Pick the audio track on multi-language files

• Playlist widget: open your playlists right from the home screen
• 1×1 shortcut widget: launch a favorite playlist with one tap

Permissions
• Read videos (READ_MEDIA_VIDEO): required to browse and play videos on your device. Photos and audio are never accessed. On Android 14+ you can grant access to selected videos only.

• Screen lock — hold to unlock, so a stray tap cannot stop your video
• Repeat (one/all) and shuffle
• Sleep timer — the sound fades out, then playback pauses
• Hold the screen for 2x speed, release to go back
• Skip interval of 5, 10, 15 or 30 seconds
