"Charging made easy. Charge your electric vehicle conveniently while shopping at Kaufland. With the free eCharge app from Kaufland, you will receive all live data on the currently free e-charging stations from Kaufland after a one-time registration.

Refuel with the eCharge app - it's that easy:
Scan the QR code on the charging station, plug the charging cable into your e-car and off you go. You can easily end the charging process via the app or on your vehicle. We wish you a good trip!

Absolute garbage of an app. Overcomplicated UX with weird Contracts for payment, which don't get confirmed and show a broken generic error. The error doesn't even have an error code properly inserted into the variable, so it literally shows %i instead. And why do you make all my personal data required to pay for a goddamn charge? Absolute case of overcollecting personal data and breaking the spirit of GDPR.

I have created my account in Germany and the app works there. I am currently on a trip in Romania. If I am not logged in, I can see the chargers. The second I log in with my account, all chargers outside Germany disappear. I tried even changing the country for my account, that does not help.

If you are not seeing any charger around or it doesnt show if charger available, reinstall the app. After that works fine, dont expect it is hundred percent correct, sometimes it updates availability a bit late but overall it is great app + free charging! Danke Kaufland!
