About this app

This app is designed for launching other apps like Netflix, Maps,... on external displays (TV/Monitor) or desktop mode on virtual displays while the phone screen can be used for other purposes or turned off.

Core features:
- Create virtual display with width/height/dpi for Desktop mode (Android 13 and newer version only)
- Provide an apps launcher to launch apps in "Desktop mode" (work with "scrcpy" tool) and on external physical display (work with "AG Mouse" app)
- Change width/height/dpi of primary (phone/tablet) and external (TV/Monitor) displays
- Automatically showing or hiding "AG Displays" app logo on an external display when opening or closing "AG Mouse" app respectively

This app does not require root access.

This app requires the API from Shizuku app. So user need to install Shizuku app on Google Play store as specified in below link.

In order to enable "Desktop mode", you must turn on below options in "Developer Options" on your devices
1. Stay awake
2. Enable freeform windows
3. Force Desktop mode
And then restart your devices and start to enjoy Desktop mode

The recommendation is to use this app for Samsung phones on Android 11 or newer because it was tested very carefully on these devices and Android versions. However, the app can still work for other devices like Google Pixel... and other lower Android versions but not all of devices and Android versions were tested. (Please be noted that before installing it and please don't give bad comments/ratings due to using it on unrecommended devices and Android versions. The AG display app nearly terrified me when it shrank my phone's screen, disabling navigation buttons. I almost did a factory reset but opted for resetting phone settings instead, losing display and battery settings but keeping my data. You can actually change resolutions from AG and back to normal. BUT IT'S NOT FUN. There should be warnings in the first place.

Please, are you able to create the setting of adding more virtual displays on the list instead of just one? Also, I cannot control applications on display without at least a touchpad & keyboard. I use this app on Chromecast, but when separately streaming another app, I'm not able to control it. Please can you solve this? Thanks.

it could work but trying to push games to it don't work well and sometimes its just super buggy, however this idea would be cool if you could get DESKTOP mode to stream to this window it creates instead of just apps with out the OVERLAY being made on the phone, the only solution I found is a HDMI dummy plug to the phone then you can scrcpy into that and it works amazing, think you can create a solution to this?
