About this app

AG Mouse turns your Android phone into an air mouse for Samsung DeX on a TV or monitor, as well as other Android desktop modes.

Not for Samsung DeX for PC.

*** IMPORTANT INFORMATION ***

* No root access is required.
* AG Mouse requires the Shizuku API. Please download and install Shizuku v13.6.0 or newer app on Github.
* Since Android 16, the "Force desktop mode" option has been removed. Therefore, the mouse pointer may not move to an external display in Android's default desktop mode. Samsung DeX continues to work normally with AG Mouse.
* For other Android desktop modes, the AG Displays app is required.

* "Hold & Click" workaround for drag-and-drop and long-click issues on Android 14
* Built-in keyboard
* Black screen mode to reduce power consumption
* Automatically show/hide the AG Displays logo on the external display
* Automatically close when no external display is connected

*** COMPATIBILITY ***

Recommended: Samsung phones supporting Samsung DeX, running Android 11–17.

The app may also work on Google Pixel and other Android devices and older Android versions, but not all devices and Android versions have been tested.

*** ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE ***

AG Mouse uses Android's AccessibilityService API as part of its core functionality to obtain motion-sensor data and control the mouse cursor.

When opening AG Mouse, press "Allow" in the permission dialog to enable the required Accessibility Service. Press "Exit" if you do not want to grant the permission.
