About this app

Shiftpunch is a work hours tracker for people who are paid by the hour. Punch in when your shift starts, punch out when it ends, and see what those hours are worth — live, to the cent. Then check every paycheck against the hours you actually worked.

★ PUNCH IN, WATCH YOUR PAY GROW
• One big button to clock in and out, with breaks (paid or unpaid)
• A live timer that shows this shift's earnings as you work
• Night shifts that run past midnight are split across the right days
• Forgot to punch out? Shiftpunch notices and helps you fix it
• Undo for accidental taps, and an "edited" mark when a punched time is changed by hand

★ CHECK EVERY PAYCHECK (PRO)
• Weekly, every 2 weeks, twice a month or monthly pay periods
• Payday countdown with the estimated amount
• Enter what you actually received and see the difference — catch short pay early
• Estimated take-home using your own withholding % (no tax tables, no guesswork)

★ OVERTIME, NIGHTS & HOLIDAYS, PRICED RIGHT
• Daily and weekly overtime, plus a double-time tier (Pro)
• Night, weekend and public-holiday premiums (Pro)
• Each hour is paid at ONE rate — the highest that applies. Premiums are never stacked to make the number look bigger.

★ PLAN YOUR SHIFTS (PRO)
• Rotations: 4 on 4 off, 2-2-3 (Pitman), DuPont, 2 days 2 nights, or your own cycle
• Shift templates, copy a shift, and planned shifts on your calendar
• Time off: vacation, sick days, paid time off and unpaid leave
• Expected pay for the period, including planned shifts

★ ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN (PRO)
• Live timer notification with Break and Punch out buttons
• Home-screen widgets: punch button, week & payday summary
• Reminders: still punched in, before a planned shift, weekly check-in

★ TIMESHEETS & INSIGHTS
• PDF timesheet you can send to your employer, CSV for spreadsheets, calendar (.ics) export (Pro)
• Hours per week, earnings per month, your real hourly rate and year-to-date totals (Pro)
• Tips, allowances, mileage, bonuses and deductions (Pro)

★ FREE FOREVER
Tracking your hours is free: punch in/out, breaks, manual shifts, full history, calendar, one job with your hourly rate and overtime rule, weekly and monthly totals, backup and restore. No account, no ads.

★ PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No sign-in, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Your shifts stay on your phone. Android's own backup can keep a copy in your Google account if you have it turned on.

★ HONEST ESTIMATES
Every figure is arithmetic on numbers you enter. Shiftpunch is not payroll software and gives no legal or tax advice — it does not know your country's labour law. Copy your rates from your contract and always check your payslip.

WHO IT IS FOR
Nurses and carers, warehouse and factory crews, retail and hospitality staff, servers and baristas, drivers and couriers, security, cleaners, freelancers — anyone paid by the hour who wants a clear time card and a pay tracker in one.

Available in English, Türkçe, Deutsch, Español, Français, Italiano, Português, العربية, Русский, 日本語 and 한국어.
