Primer is a free educational app that includes lessons to help you learn about hundreds of important topics.

Primer uses an advanced adaptive learning algorithm to quickly identify your current knowledge and recommend new topics to study. After an initial assessment, you will be given lessons on useful topics that build on what you already know.

I had to put down my phone & when I picked it up, a course I hated was accidentally selected. I did a search for something I liked & found something along a with a way to (supposedl) ask questions, including how to change topics. It told me it could do this for me, whereupon it flickered quickly between 2 screens; good thing I'm not epileptic like my SO, or I'd have had seizures! I tried turning it off/on, reinstalling, no luck, it's set to torture me on a subject I've hated since grades choose.

Just one word „underrated”. It's way better than some of the premium apps out there. It really does personapise it's exercises and content as per your level. Wonderful ai voice and wide range of things to learn. Just love it. Some suggestions would be: I want to disable the ai voice just on the entrance page of the application, but it's not possible yet as it mutes ai all the way in lessons as well. And ofc add more and more topics to study. I think I'll stich with this app for a long time. ❤️

Initial vibe i got was great. I think the initial test and subject selection coukd be streamlined more to start people at their level. I didnt really immediatly get an option to state my level or just select things i know, providing the option between the two might be most streamlined. The level on most topics felt too surface level. The tests being only multiple choice and having really poor 'distractors' seems to be a lacking approach. (Also had bugs where the same question appeared twice).
