Slow, doesn't reliably show programme information, displays a different date and time for a recording on different screens in the app. Doesn't reflect the settings in the PVR, treats a wired network differently than the same network via WiFi. This is really badly broken and is essentially unusable. Really needs fixing and updating to run on 2020 Android, it's almost 2 years since the last release and that's not a good record.

Having ditched Freesat (which at least had a decent app which COULD program recordings remotely), I am disappointed at how poor this is. The settings are NOT real settings (nothing you can tweak) and there is no help at all as far as I can see. However the upside is the app is so simple it does not need help, just IMPROVEMENT! The worst thing is the EPG which for most programmes has between 4 and 10 characters showing then irritating dots obscuring the remainder. You keep having to tap/click on

Updated from * to ***. I have finally got this app to work, although it still needs updating! It still won't play live TV, but now shows my schedules, and the TV guide. It is possible to schedule a programme or series remotely, but it would be nice to be able to turn the meaningless thumbnails off. On your recorder make sure that Remote Recording is set to ON, and Update Period to ALL DAY. Also set Network Server to ON & Activation Time to 00:01 - 23:59. The recorder itself is very good.
