I really like the idea of this app. for the free version, it is not usable at all. Every time I click on ANYTHING, an ad pops up, and I can even close it once it's done. so I have to force the app to close. then I have to start again, but have to go through the same process. Essentially, I haven't been able to use the app AT ALL. So disappointing.

The recent update has some new nice features, such as different layout, dark mode, upgraded location requirement. Unfortunately, I still prever the previous version since there were different marking for the bookmarked surah, verses, and the mark for continuing the recitation. After updating the app, I cannot find the bookmarked surah, difficult to put the marking on the verses for the next recitation, and the marking system is not as neat as in the previous versio, sometimes I even lost them.

I really dislike the update. I have been using the old version and really wished to have the option to go back. This new version is too much for me and it overcomplicates my experience. I would very much love to have the option to go back to previous versions please 🥹. I recite my al-quran here on the daily and love using the app (the old version) because it's easier and better when it comes to accessibility and readability. The new version is hard to read for me personally.
